Watch someone fluent in a skill and count how many tiny things they do without thinking. That’s the iceberg.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Skill looks like one smooth action from outside and is really dozens of small decisions that stopped needing attention. Grip, timing, where the eyes go, what gets ignored: none of it appears in the explanation because the person no longer notices doing it. Underestimating that hidden layer is why your own attempts feel harder than they looked.

Watch somebody good at the thing you are learning and count the small moves they never mention. Pick one and practise only that. You are not slow, you are doing consciously what they have automated.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What do you now do automatically that once took deliberate thought?
