You’re allowed to change your mind when you learn something new. That’s literally the point of learning.

Changing your mind when new information arrives is what learning is for, and yet it often gets treated as losing. The confusion comes from mixing up consistency with honesty: holding a position after it stops matching what you know is loyalty to an older version of yourself. Nobody is keeping the score you are afraid of.

Say out loud, once this week, that you have changed your view on something and why. Something small is fine. Watching it cost you nothing makes the next one much easier.
