What you are watching is the best take, cut together, with the failures removed for your comfort. The person made most of the mistakes you are about to make and simply did not keep them in, so the footage sets an expectation nobody could meet live, including them. Your first attempt is being measured against their twentieth.

Assume three or four failures per new thing and leave time for them. When your first go looks nothing like the video, that is the ordinary result rather than evidence against you. Try again before you go hunting for a better tutorial.
