Not knowing is a starting position, not a character flaw.

Ignorance about a particular thing describes where you are, nothing more. Somewhere along the way it gets treated as information about your worth, which is why people nod along rather than admit they are lost, and then stay lost to protect a feeling. Everyone who knows the thing was once exactly where you are. The only difference is the order in which you arrived.

Say it out loud once this week: you do not know this one yet. Pick a place where the stakes are low, a friend or a teacher rather than a room full of strangers. Notice that the sentence costs nothing and usually gets you the answer.
