A dog greets you the same whether you aced the test or bombed it. That’s the kind of welcome worth giving people.

REFLECTION
Most greetings are conditional without anyone admitting it. People read your face, work out how the day went, and adjust their warmth, so your welcome home tracks your results. An animal does not do that arithmetic. The relief you feel walking in the door is the relief of being met before being assessed.
Try giving that to one person this week, probably someone in your house. Ask how the day went after you have already been glad to see them, not before. It costs nothing and it is rare.
Who gets the same greeting from you regardless of results?
