Birds don’t stay where the food ran out just because they’re used to it. Familiar isn’t the same as good for you.

Familiarity is comfortable and tells you nothing about whether something is still working. The team that stopped developing you, the group chat that makes you feel worse, the routine that used to fit: each keeps its hold because leaving takes a decision and staying does not. Habit is cheaper than choice. That is the whole reason people stay past the point of benefit.
Name one thing you are continuing purely because it is what you already do. Then ask what it is still giving you, in plain terms. If the answer is only that it is familiar, that is your answer.
Where has something stopped feeding you and you stayed anyway?
