Your face will change a dozen times in your life. Put more into the parts that don’t wrinkle.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Appearance is a moving target and it will keep moving. The attention it gets at your age makes sense, since it is what people react to first, but every version of your face is temporary. What does not get replaced is how you treat people and what you know how to do.
Shift a slice of the effort: for every hour you spend on how you look, give some to something that will still be there at forty. A skill, a book, a friendship that needs attention. Nobody is asking you to stop caring how you look.
How much of your week goes to your appearance?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
