You’ll be someone’s “back in my day” story. Make it a good one.

Every generation becomes the older generation, and however you behave now gets retold by whoever was younger at the time. Teenagers twenty years from now will hear what it was like when you were sixteen, and some of it will be about you in particular: how you treated the new kid, what you did when nobody was watching.

Pick one thing you would be glad to have retold about this year and do more of it. The simplest version is being decent to somebody who has no way to repay you.
