Getting rejected is just learning where you don’t fit yet. “Yet” is the word doing the work.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Getting a no describes the fit between you and one particular opening, judged by one person, on one day. It does not measure your worth and it does not close the category. The small word that changes the whole sentence is the one that puts the result in time rather than in you: not qualified now, not ready now, not what they needed this round. Those are facts with an expiry date on them.
Keep a short list of the places that said no and what you would do differently. Apply again once the list has something new on it. That is the whole method, repeated.
Did a no tell you about fit or value?
