Growing up between two cultures teaches you to read a room before you walk into it.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Moving between two sets of rules makes you fluent in something most people never have to learn. You notice how loud is too loud here, what counts as polite in this house, which joke will land and which will not, often before anybody speaks. It was never optional, which is exactly why you are good at it.

Name it as a skill rather than as a side effect of being between things. Use it deliberately this week: in an interview, a new team, a first shift. You already read rooms faster than people who have only ever been in one.
