A lot of conflict is just two people being tired at the same time.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Plenty of arguments have no real subject. Two people low on sleep and food meet over something trivial, and the tiredness supplies the heat while the topic supplies the excuse. You can tell because whatever you fought about rarely needs resolving once you have both slept.
Before the next one starts, run a quick check: when did you last eat, how late were you up, what else went wrong today. If the answers are bad, say you want to talk about it tomorrow and mean it. Most of these dissolve overnight without anyone having to lose.
When did tiredness do most of the arguing for you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
