Character mostly shows up in tiny math: splitting the bill, sharing the fries, giving credit on the group slide.

Nobody gets a dramatic test very often. What you get instead is a steady stream of very small accountings, and your defaults show up in those: whether you round up or down, whether you take the last one, whether other names get mentioned. People are reading those numbers even when nobody says anything.
Watch your own arithmetic this week in three places: a bill, a shared packet of something, a piece of credit. Err slightly in the other person’s favour each time, which costs you almost nothing. Notice who around you does the same, because that is useful information about them.
How do you handle the bill when nobody is counting?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
