The heaviest bag you carry is the one you never unpack.

What you refuse to look at keeps its full weight. An unopened bag goes everywhere with you and grows heavier because you never sort it, never throw anything out, never find out that half of it is smaller than you assumed. Avoidance feels like saving effort and quietly charges interest instead.
You could open one corner of it this week rather than the whole thing. Say the oldest part out loud to one person who will not make it worse, or write it somewhere nobody reads. If it is bigger than a conversation, a counsellor or a doctor is a reasonable place to take it.
Which old grievance have you never actually looked through?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
