After a power outage, the microwave clock blinks 12:00 until somebody resets it. After a hard week, so do you.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Disruption leaves things running on a default nobody chose. After a rough stretch your sleep, your eating and your sense of what day it is are all flashing something wrong, and none of it corrects itself just because the power came back on. The repair is manual and unglamorous. It is also quick once somebody decides to do it.

Reset the three settings that actually hold your days together: a bedtime, one proper meal pattern, and whatever movement you had before. Do them badly rather than perfectly. Nothing else needs fixing until those are back on the right time.
