An old saw blade with a few chipped teeth still cuts. You don’t need to be perfect to keep working.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Usefulness survives damage. A blade with a few teeth gone is no longer ideal and still does the job it was made for, and waiting for perfect condition before using something mostly means never using it. That same standard applied to yourself would take you out of action permanently.

Go ahead with something this week in the condition you are actually in, tired or rusty or out of practice. Lower the standard for a first attempt rather than postponing it. Keep what is damaged in mind, work around it, and let the work still happen.
