Helping is good. Rescuing the same person every single week is a pattern.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Help is an event and rescue is a system. One is you stepping in; the other is a weekly arrangement in which the same problem never has to get solved, because the solution is you. That is not a flaw in either of you. It is what happens when a reliable person stands beside a recurring crisis long enough.
Count the last month honestly. If it has been every week, change the shape of the help rather than refusing it: sit with them while they do the thing instead of doing it for them. That still counts as kindness, and it leaves them something usable.
Who have you rescued so often it became expected?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
