A star looks still, but it’s moving fast through space. Some changes are too far away to see happening.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Something can be moving at enormous speed and look completely fixed, if you are far enough away or watching for too short a time. Plenty of real change in your life works like that. The daily view shows nothing, and you conclude nothing is happening, when the only thing missing is distance.

Use a measurement longer than a day. Write down where you are with the thing you are trying to get better at, date it, and put it away until December. Looking at that note later is the only honest way to tell whether you were still or merely too close to see it.
