Once someone shows you a constellation, you can’t unsee it. Some lessons work by pointing.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Before somebody traces it for you the sky is scattered dots, and afterwards the shape is simply there, permanently, with no effort needed to find it again. Some teaching works like that: not explanation, just a finger aimed at something already in front of you. The knowledge takes ten seconds to hand over and then lasts for life.
Ask somebody to point at something this week rather than explain it. Get a teammate to show you the one thing they look at before they shoot. Get a teacher to mark the sentence where your essay lost its way. Then do it for somebody else, because pointing is cheap.
What did somebody point out once that you have never stopped seeing?
