At high zoom, a speck of dust looks like a boulder. Panic is a microscope pointed at the wrong slide.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Panic magnifies. The problem has not grown, your zoom has, and at that magnification a small worry fills the entire screen and looks structural. That is why a missed assignment feels like your whole future at midnight and like a missed assignment by Tuesday. The alarm is real, but its size is not information about the risk.

When your chest goes tight, say the thing out loud in one plain sentence, then say what it will mean in a month. Write both down if that helps. Make the decision after you have widened the frame, not during.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What tiny problem have you magnified until it filled the whole day?
