A blind spot isn’t a flaw. It’s a spot. Ask somebody standing to the side.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Not being able to see something from where you stand is geometry rather than failure. Everybody has an angle hidden from them, and no amount of trying harder reveals it, because the obstacle is the position and not the effort. The only thing that fixes it is somebody standing somewhere else who is willing to say what they can see.

Pick one thing you keep getting wrong and ask a person who watches you from the side: a sibling, a teammate, a coworker. Ask about that specific thing rather than requesting a general review. Then listen all the way through without defending yourself.
