Some people feel safe spending and nervous saving. Some are the opposite. Know which one you are before your first paycheck.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Money habits run on feeling before arithmetic. For one person a full account feels like safety, and for another a balance sitting there feels like waste. Neither is a moral position, and both will quietly run your decisions until you notice which is yours.
Watch your first two or three paychecks without judging what you do with them. Then set one rule that works against your default: an automatic transfer if you spend fast, or a small amount you are allowed to blow if saving makes you anxious. Rules made in advance do not need willpower later.
