If a rule seems unfair, learn who can change it and how. Complaining to the wrong person changes nothing.

Most complaining goes sideways, to friends and to whoever is nearest, and none of those people have the authority to alter anything. It feels like action and produces only a worse mood. Every rule has somebody who can change it and a route by which it gets changed, and both are usually findable if you ask.
Spend ten minutes finding out who decides and what form the request takes. Then make the case to that person, in that form, once. If the answer is no, you will at least know the reason, which is more than a semester of complaining will get you.
Who has the power to change the rule bothering you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
