Returning bees signal quality by how hard they dance, so the colony sends more workers wherever the nectar is richest. Effort gets allocated by evidence rather than by habit. Your own time rarely gets sorted that way, because the familiar task keeps taking the hours whether it pays or not. Noticing which efforts actually return something is the entire adjustment.

List where your week currently goes and mark what each hour gives back, in money, skill, fitness or people you like. Move two hours from the weakest to the strongest. Review in a month rather than tomorrow.
