Your parents spent some of their best years driving you to practice. That was their time, given to you on purpose.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Those drives came out of years when your parents had other things they wanted to be doing. It was not leftover time, it was time taken from somewhere, usually from rest or from themselves. The ordinary logistics of your childhood were a long run of small sacrifices nobody announced.
Thank somebody for something specific instead of general, a drive, a whole season, a cost they quietly covered. Specific is much harder to brush off than a vague thanks.
Who drove you to practice year after year?
