A good teacher’s influence shows up in students’ kids. One adult who believed in you can echo for generations.

Encouragement does not stop with the person who received it. Somebody taken seriously at fifteen grows into an adult who takes other people seriously, including their own kids, and the original source is long out of the picture by then. Influence like that spreads sideways and downward with nobody tracking it.

Think about the adult who took you seriously and work out what they actually did. Then do that same specific thing for somebody younger than you.
