Faith does not require understanding every road before taking the next step.

You are not required to see the whole road to take the next step on it. Waiting for full understanding before moving is a reasonable-sounding demand that quietly guarantees stillness, because full understanding rarely arrives in advance. Most of what you know now was learned by walking, not by planning.

Ask what the next step is rather than what the whole path is, and let the next step be small enough to actually take. Understanding tends to catch up with movement. It very rarely arrives ahead of it.
