Precision prevents interpretation from doing unnecessary work.

Every vagueness you leave behind hands somebody else a decision. They must guess what you meant, and they will guess based on their own context rather than yours. That guessing is invisible work, it happens without anyone noticing, and it is where most misunderstandings begin, long before anyone disagrees about anything real.

Read back what you last sent and find the phrases that could reasonably mean two things. Soon, by the end of the week, when we can. Replace one or two with something exact. You are not being pedantic, you are removing the work you were about to hand over without saying so.
