A lot of what you communicate never goes through words at all. Your expression reports what you think faster than you decide to say it, and people read it accurately while you have no idea it happened, which is why conversations sometimes turn before you have spoken. You are the only person in the room who cannot see it.

Ask somebody close to you what your face does when you are bored, annoyed or unconvinced. They will enjoy telling you. Knowing your own tells gives you a choice about them.
