Accuracy saves time that correction would otherwise consume later.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Getting something right the first time costs a little more up front and almost always less overall. Correction later means finding the error, understanding what it touched, redoing the dependent work, and often explaining it to people who had already trusted the result. The apparent speed of rushing borrows time from a future that pays it back with interest.
When you feel pressure to move fast, be specific about where the speed is coming from. Cutting scope is usually fine. Skipping verification on something others will build on rarely is. Choose which of those you are actually doing rather than letting the deadline choose for you.
