The same figure is negligible in one ledger and decisive in another. A sum that an organisation rounds away can be the difference between a household staying housed and not, and both facts are true at the same time in the same currency. Money has no fixed size, only a size relative to what surrounds it.

If you have any say over payments or delays, remember that the amount is not the impact. Ask what it does at the other end. And when your own small amounts feel embarrassing to care about, they are not small where you are standing.
