A small start can reveal the support you need before the project becomes expensive.

RESILIENCE
Planning tells you what you expect to need; doing a small piece tells you what you actually need. Start at full scale and the missing skill, the wrong tool, the person you should have consulted all appear after the money is committed. Start with a fragment and the same gaps appear in week one, when changing course costs almost nothing. The purpose of a small beginning is information rather than caution.
Take the thing you are planning and do a deliberately tiny version of it first. Note everywhere you got stuck or had to ask. Then build the real plan around what that week taught you.
What could you attempt this week at a tenth of the scale?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
