Some of the best travel decisions are made after admitting everyone is tired.

Plans made at home assume a version of you with full energy and no blisters. Halfway through a trip that version is gone, yet the group keeps marching because the plan exists and nobody wants to be the one who quit. Saying the tiredness out loud turns a private struggle into a shared fact that can be worked with. Much of what people later remember fondly gets decided that way.
Try naming it early rather than at the point of collapse: say you are flagging and ask what everyone actually wants. Cutting one stop and sitting somewhere for an hour is often the better trip, not the lesser one.
When did admitting you were tired improve the rest of a day?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
