Difficulty does not usually create the weakness, it finds it. The thing that broke under pressure had been quietly failing for a while, in a relationship, a finance, a habit, and the crisis simply made it visible. That is uncomfortable and it is also useful information you did not have before.

After something goes wrong, ask what the pressure revealed rather than only what it damaged. Repair the underlying thing. The next storm is not the variable you control.
