A good process makes careful work possible without requiring a daily act of heroism.

When quality depends on somebody caring extra hard every day, it is not really being produced by the system. It is being subsidized by a person. That works until they are tired, ill, or gone, and then the standard collapses and everyone acts surprised. A process that only functions with heroism has simply moved the difficulty onto whoever is most conscientious.

Find the place where good outcomes currently depend on one person remembering. Build the check, the default, or the reminder that makes the careful path the easy one. Then see whether the work survives an ordinary week without extra effort.
