The pressure to decide immediately often deserves more attention than the offer itself.

REFLECTION
A deadline attached to a decision is information about the person setting it. Real opportunities can be genuinely urgent, but manufactured urgency exists to stop you checking, comparing, or consulting anyone, and the shorter the window the less confident the offer is that it survives scrutiny. The pressure is part of the deal, not a detail around it.
Ask what happens if you answer in a week, and watch the reaction closely. Take the extra day even when you intend to say yes. Anything that cannot survive a night of thinking is telling you something.
What have you agreed to because someone needed an answer immediately?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
