The best option on paper still has to fit the person expected to live with it.

Comparisons on paper measure what is easy to measure: cost, speed, features, the tidy summary of what a choice provides. What they cannot measure is the texture of living with the result, the small frictions a particular person will meet every morning. An option can win every column and still be wrong for the one who has to carry it.
When you are helping someone decide, or deciding for yourself, ask what an ordinary Tuesday looks like under each option. Talk to whoever will handle it day to day, and let their answer count as evidence rather than sentiment.
Whose life would your most sensible option actually have to fit?
