A decision made from fear can look reasonable until courage reviews it later.

RESILIENCE
Fear is an excellent lawyer. It rarely says it is afraid; it argues practicality, timing, responsibility, and the reasonable weighing of risk. That is why fearful decisions pass inspection in the moment and only fail review later, when courage returns and asks a question fear never allowed on the table.
Before a decision hardens, try asking what you would choose if the outcome were guaranteed to be survivable. The answer will not always be the right one, but the gap between it and your actual choice tells you how much fear is currently drafting your reasoning. Where the gap is wide, slow down and look again.
