A useful decision leaves the next step possible, not merely the current debate finished.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Decisions can end a conversation without enabling anything. A vague resolution, a compromise nobody can act on, a choice that leaves the real question untouched: the meeting closes, everyone feels finished, and next morning there is nothing anybody can begin. Concluding is not the same as deciding. The test is whether one person knows what to do on Monday.

At the end of the next decision, ask out loud who does what and by when. If nobody can answer, the discussion ended but the decision never happened.
