Some opportunities improve while you prepare for them.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Preparation is not time spent away from an opportunity; it often improves the opportunity itself. The role you were not ready for two years ago is a better role now because you have more to bring to it. Waiting well means arriving as someone who can hold the thing, rather than someone who merely got there first.
If something you want has not arrived, ask what version of you it would require and build toward that. Pick the one capability that would most change how you would handle it. That is work you can do this week, and it is useful whether the opportunity comes or a better one does.
What could you use better after another month of preparing?
