The advice that sounds simple may depend on support the listener does not have.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Simple advice usually has invisible scaffolding underneath it. Telling someone to take a break, hire help, or just leave assumes money, childcare, a spare room or a willing family, and the person hearing it may have none of those. What worked for you worked inside your circumstances, which are not the ones they are standing in.

Before you offer the obvious solution, ask what has stopped it from happening already. Listen for the practical obstacle rather than assuming reluctance. Sometimes the most useful thing you can do is help supply the missing piece rather than repeat the advice more firmly.
