Everything deferred lands in the same place. The money question, the plan for the weekend, the thing that has been bothering you all get pushed through the day and arrive at once, at the hour when both of you are least able to be careful with each other. The evening then takes the blame, when the real trouble was scheduling.

Move one subject out of the last hour this week and give it a daylight slot instead. Ten minutes in the morning will do more than an hour at eleven at night.
