A task becomes more reliable when its ordinary failure points are easy to see.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Most things do not fail in interesting ways. They fail at the same few dull points, again and again, and they fail quietly enough that nobody notices until the consequence arrives. Reliability comes less from care in the moment than from making those ordinary weak spots visible while there is still time to act.
Think of a task you repeat and name the two places it usually goes wrong. Build in something that shows you early, a check, a marker, a question you always ask. Make the signal easy to see when you are tired, because that is when you will need it.
Where does your routine usually break without you noticing until later?
