The first serious ambition often arrives before the skill to describe it clearly.

LEADERSHIP
Wanting something badly comes first, and the vocabulary for it arrives years later. A young person who says they want to make things, or help people, or work with animals is not being vague on purpose; they are pointing at a real pull with the only words they have. Adults who demand a plan often get a made-up answer instead of the true one. The clarity is a product of pursuing it, not a prerequisite.
If someone tells you a blurry ambition, ask what part of it feels most alive rather than what the job is called. Offer the same patience to whatever you cannot yet name in yourself.
What did you want badly before you could name it?
