Money can purchase an easier entrance without making the room feel like yours.

REFLECTION
Getting in and feeling at home are separate goods, and only one of them is for sale. Money works well at the door and not at all past it, which is why arriving somewhere you worked hard to reach can feel worse rather than better. The unease is not ingratitude. It is the accurate perception that admission and belonging were never the same transaction.
If you feel out of place somewhere you paid to be, treat it as information about the room rather than about yourself. Find the one or two people who make it easier, and offer the same to whoever comes in behind you.
Where have you gained access but never felt you belonged?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
