An alarm asks yesterday’s intentions to meet today’s actual condition.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

The alarm was set by someone with a plan and is answered by someone with a body. Those two are not always in agreement, and the argument at six in the morning is between a version of you who had energy to spare and a version who has none yet. Neither is the true one. Both hold real information, which is why the argument keeps happening.

Set the time for the ordinary version of you rather than the ideal one, and notice which mornings you consistently lose. If it is most of them, the plan needs changing rather than your character.
