A step taught patiently can travel through celebrations the teacher will never attend.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
What you teach somebody leaves with them and keeps going. A dance step learned in a hall on a Tuesday turns up at a wedding twenty years later, then gets shown to a child, then appears somewhere neither of you could have pictured. The teacher sees none of it and does not need to. Passing something on is a way of being present at events you will never hear about.
Teach one small thing properly to somebody this month rather than doing it for them. Slowness at the start is what makes it portable enough to travel without you.
What have you taught that will outlive your part in it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
