The morning’s best moment may arrive before anything worth reporting has happened.

The good part of a day is frequently the part with no content. Standing in the kitchen while the kettle heats, first light through the window, nobody needing anything yet: none of it survives being told to anyone. Because we measure days by their events, these stretches get filed as nothing at all. Unreportable is not the same as unimportant.
Tomorrow, notice the first minute that feels genuinely good and do not hurry it. Stay there deliberately for as long as it lasts. Judge the day partly by that rather than only by what you can list afterwards.
What part of your morning would never make a good story?
