Learning is easier once being wrong stops feeling like humiliation.

As long as being wrong registers as humiliation, you will avoid the situations where learning happens, and the avoidance will look like preference. Once it registers as ordinary, you can be corrected quickly and move on, which is a large practical advantage over time.
The shift comes partly from practice and partly from framing. Try saying you were wrong about something small, out loud, without softening it. Notice that nothing happens. Repeated a few times, this lowers the cost of the admission enough that you stop steering your life around avoiding it.
What happens in you when someone corrects you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
