Curiosity is one of the few appetites that grows healthier when fed.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Most appetites diminish or distort when indulged. Curiosity does the opposite: satisfying it opens further questions, and each thing you learn makes more things learnable. It is one of the few things you can pursue without limit and be better for it, and it also happens to make ordinary life more interesting.

If your curiosity has gone quiet, it usually needs feeding rather than forcing. Follow one small interest this week with no purpose attached, nothing to do with work or improvement. The capacity tends to return quickly once given something to work on.
