A pet’s favorite place reveals which comfort it chose without caring about your arrangement.

REFLECTION
Animals sort a house by comfort rather than by design. The expensive bed goes unused and the spot chosen is a patch of sun on a hard floor, the gap behind a chair, the one cushion you were saving. There is no judgement in it, which is what makes it useful: you are seeing warmth, safety and sightlines rated by something with no interest in how the room is supposed to look.
Follow the choice rather than correcting it. Wherever an animal keeps settling is telling you something true about the room, and moving the bed there is easier than winning the argument.
